Doug Melander Hired as eServices Sales Specialist at National Bank of Commerce’s Superior Main Branch

National Bank of Commerce (NBC), the area’s largest, locally-owned, full-service community bank, has further expanded its eServices Department by hiring Doug Melander as a new eServices Sales Specialist.

Doug Melander, a Duluth native, comes to NBC with a vast background in the sales industry. Melander has spent the last 27 years as the President/CEO of Reinhold’s Menswear, Inc. and the Co-Owner of Mainstream Fashions for Men.

Now working from NBC’s Main branch, he will be responsible for providing eService solutions and support to existing and prospective clients. He will help streamline their business’s financial goals and ensure that their objectives are met.

Community Bank President Bruce Thompson states; “Doug comes to us from an entrepreneurial background. He has serviced the men’s fashion sector in our area for decades. We are excited to offer him the opportunity to apply those same service skills to the local businesses in the Twin Ports that are interested in becoming more efficient and successful at ecommerce.”

Doug’s civic involvement includes being an active member of the Harbortown Rotary in Duluth since 2003. He was also the Board Chair of the Greater Downtown Council in 2012 and 2014 where he still sits as a current Board Member.
