Duluth, MN–September 18-22, 2017, is Minnesota Bankers Community Impact Week. During this week, associates from National Bank of Commerce will be volunteering in a variety of local projects, all with the end goal of helping to protect and preserve Lake Superior and our local watersheds.

On Tuesday, September 19, NBC associates will be working with the St. Louis River Alliance and the City of Superior to do beach restoration on WI Point. Restoring the critical beach habitat will help attract nesting pairs of the endangered Great Lakes Piping Plover.

Duluth Teachers Credit Union Announces New Name and Location

Duluth Teachers Credit Union has announced its new name, Harbor Pointe Credit Union.
The credit union, with locations Downtown Duluth, Kenwood and Miller Hill was founded in 1933 by a group of Duluth Educators that first served ISD709 employees and their families.  Field of membership was expanded several years ago to include anyone living in Duluth, Hermantown or Proctor and more recently expanded to anyone living in South St. Louis County, all of Douglas and Carlton Counties as well as Two Harbors.
