Patrick Miner

Patrick Miner is the President of Miner’s Incorporated for its businesses Super One Foods, Super One Liquor, Woodland Marketplace Foods, Ace Hardware, and Miner’s Distribution Center. He provides leadership in all areas of the Company’s business, including company and store operations, advertising and marketing, as well as store development.

Patrick has worked at Miner’s Inc. for 32 years and began his career with the Company at 15 years old. His first job started as pushing carts and carrying out the duties of the utility workers at the stores. Furthermore, he worked within the stores as a stocker in both the grocery and frozen/dairy departments, was a meat wrapper and butcher, and an evening store supervisor. Also, Patrick has worked as a human resource manager and a district manager for the Company prior to holding his existing position.

Patrick grew up in the Woodland neighborhood of Duluth and graduated from Duluth East High School in 1995. He graduated in 2000 from the University of Minnesota-Duluth where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Patrick is very active with various area local business groups and nonprofit organizations and is a current board member of the Northern Lakes Second Harvest Food Bank. In addition, he is active in the grocery industry serving as past chairman and currently an executive board member of the Minnesota Grocers Association and he serves on UNFI’s National Retailer Advisory Board.

Patrick and his wife Jodilyn have three children and live in Hermantown, MN. They are very active in all of their children’s extracurricular activities including dance, hockey, and soccer. Patrick enjoys many outdoor activities including fishing and hunting and likes to play hockey, golf, and participate in other fitness activities with family and friends.
